While all Global Works programs provide community service and adventure activities; some programs also offer other features such as homestays and language learning. Find out which type of program is best for you by reading the descriptions below!
Types of Service Programs
Cultural Exchange and Service Programs
New Zealand/Fiji - Ireland - Fiji Islands - Puerto Rico - Costa Rica
n Requires no prior language study.
n Accommodations include: Group housing, B&Bs, Hostels, and Environmental Centers.
Language Immersion and Service Programs
Mexico - Costa Rica - Puerto Rico - Spain - Ecuador - France - Martinique - Peru - Argentina
n Requires two years of prior language instruction.
n Accommodations include: a 10-15 day homestay experience that matches one student per homestay family, in addition to stays at B&Bs, Hostels, and Environmental Centers.
